Authorities of the beloved Prophet to See the Unseen

Quran is a star house of knowledge and wisdom containing references, related to knowledge and its results. This obviously indicates the great importance on knowledge and its acquirement at all stages of life.

This (Quran) is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain (in faith). (2)

In its intellectual wisdom, there are 2 types of Knowledge or education, one which is educated in Madrasa, schools, academies and institution of higher education called (the knowledge of the books), in the advanced order. For an untrained-man as well as for the majority of the population this is what institutes the knowledge and it is believed to be enough to fulfill our physical seek and desire in this behalf.

These are the tidings of Unseen that We reveal to you in secret. (7)

However, there is yet another branch of knowledge, which is skilled and achieved directly or straight through the divine support, requiring neither the educational institutes, nor skilled teachers and degree holders. This is the mystical or heavenly region of knowledge, which in Quranic terms is known as the “Knowledge of the Hidden” or (Eilmay-Ghayeeb), constituting one of the essential principles of Islamic faith. In detail, the faith and unfaith in the Hidden “Ghayeeb” is the differentiating spot of an individual being a Muslim or a Pagan.

Conviction of the Ahle-Sunnah about Eilmay-Ghayeeb

Mufti Ahmad Yaar Khan (رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه) say’s;

Gracious Almighty Allah has informed His Prophets about certain things from the Unseen. The knowledge of the Prophet is more than anyone else’s. Nobody can be equal to the knowledge of the Prophet’s knowledge in the world. The 5 special things of the Unseen, Allah has informed some of these parts to the Prophet. (4)

This is the office of knowledge, Super-human in nature beating the human intelligence and dominant over all other knowledge, in any other field of human activity, challenging all methods of conveying and getting education and knowledge. This is basically an emblem of Heavenly Grace presented upon the chosen servants of Gracious Almighty Allah, alike tender blissful rain showered upon the hearts and souls of the esteemed inheritors on earth.

I know well that Allah is Capable to do all things. (1)

However, this does not mean that Gracious Almighty Allah restricts and retains the Knowledge of Hidden exclusively to Himself and does not disclose any part of it to any other person. These marvels have been verified at different places in the Holy Quran.

Imam Tabari writes under this verse:

Gracious Almighty Allah  has told the Prophet, you must thank Gracious Almighty Allah Who has informed you of what has already happened and what will happen in the future and this is a great grace of Gracious Almighty Allah upon you.(5)

In the verses of the Holy Quran it is clear that Gracious Almighty Allah bestowed the Knowledge of the Hidden upon His chosen Ones, but unfortunately, most people do not know this and contrarily, refuse to believe it, without realizing the consequences. These religious souls at times disclosed this Marvelous bestowment in order to influence the people and clear their suspicions and diverting them on the right track of religious belief and Faith.

The Hidden Knowledge was also bestowed upon the noble Prophet, the most revealing and surpassing miracle given to the dearest Prophet of Gracious Almighty. More or less, one lack and twenty four thousand Apostles were elevated, at different ages of time with specific knowledge of the Hidden realm. However the Knowledge of Hidden bestowed upon the noble Prophet was boundless in space and scale with, Hidden secrets the Holy Prophet learned thru the knowledge bestowed upon him by the Grace of Gracious Almighty Allah.

Sayyiduna Sahl Bin Sa’d رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has narrated:

The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said on the day of Khyber, ‘Tomorrow I will give this flag to that person, by virtue of whom, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will bestow victory. He loves Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His Rasul (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم) and Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His Rasul (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم) loves him as well. (6)

The undisputed point remains that Gracious Almighty Allah granted the Hidden Knowledge to the noble Prophet and thru Him to “Auliya Allah” Friends of Allah. If someone denies and suspects the genuineness of this Divine Truth, he is certainly guilty of falsehood and declining the prominence of Divine Favor. An individual if convicted as a (Foul mouth), is worthy of being disqualified from the position and rank of Muslim-hood. The eminence of a true Muslim is that he admits and believes each and every command of Gracious Almighty Allah and deeds upon it ungrudgingly and completely and encourages others to do so.

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Bin Mas’ud رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has stated, ‘Amir-ul-Mu`minin Sayyidunā ‘Ali-ul-Murtada کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم is such a scholarly person of great eminence who possesses both the knowledge of the seen and unseen.’(3)

Respecting the throne of the beloved Prophet is an essential part of a Muslim’s faith!

Darbaar “Throne of Pre-eminences” of the holy Prophet is a (Grand Darbaar), surpassing the dignity of worldly Rajahs and crowned heads. It is an action of misbehavior and misdemeanor to even utter loud words in His Grand presence; such an act reasons the loss of all other virtuous deeds of a Believer, deprived of the Heavenly Grace.

But if anyone opposes the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to him, and follows a path other than that of the believers, We will hand him over to whatever he has turned to, and We will roast him in Hell. What an evil destination! (8)

The companions of the holy Prophet used to sit in his company in due respect holding their breaths and not making any movements to disturb the self-esteem of the gathering. They would only utter courteous phrases like: Dear Prophet of Gracious Almighty Allah! May well, my parents be sacrificed at the feet of your self-respect. Every question positioned to them, their answer used to be, (Gracious Almighty Allah and his Dearest Prophet knows better).

Conclusion;

Progenies of Adam and Eve, countless Praises be upon Gracious Almighty Allah for, He has gifted us one of his dearest amongst (approximately) 1, 24000, Forecasters rejoiced upon earth. It is clearly understood there is a Prophet amongst us that knows about tomorrow and everyone knows that our Prophet did know about the future events up to the Day of Judgment and even after. If considered that he knew nothing of the Unseen, how else could he have told us about Hazrat Mehdi (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام), the Dajjal, the return of Hazrat Essa (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام) Jesus, the examination (Question & Answers) of the grave, (pull-e-serath) bridge over hell, which every soul will have to cross, the weighing scale (meezaan), where everyone’s deeds will be weighed up.

Sacrifice|Lesson for Generations

Madani pearl of QurbaniQurbani means oblation, every year in the religious month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims all over the globe sacrifice animals such as – a sheep, goat, camel or a cow – to highlight the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail, for the grace of Almighty Allah (God). The real intention of sacrificing animals is to achieve the blessings of Almighty Allah (God) and show that Muslims fear Almighty Allah (God). It means we should sacrifice even our very precious things if asked by Almighty Allah (God). In a perception, sacrifice means we can aside the desire of doting earthly titles and sacrifice everything for the sake of Allah. The Founder of Dawat-e-Islami the Spiritual Guide, Ameer e Ahle Sunnat, the Honorable Sheikh; Abu Bilal Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri Razavi Ziaee states; that the ideology behind “Udhiya”(sacrifice) is that it is an affirmation of complete compliance to Almighty Allah(God) and an evidence of total submission to Almighty  Allah’s (God’s)wish or directives. When a Muslim performs an “Udhiya” (sacrifice) this is precisely what he aims to prove? Thus, the “Udhiya” (sacrifice) offered indicates that he is a bondsman of Almighty Allah (God) at his best. And that he will not hesitate even for a split second once he gets a sheer bid from his Creator to submit before and to obey cheerfully, even if it be at the price of his life or titles.

This is precisely what the Prophet Ibrahim (peace and blessings be upon him) did; there was no justification why a father should butcher his law-abiding son. But, when the orders came from Almighty Allah (God), he never asked the motive to that command, nor did he fluctuate to perform it. This is the true ideology of “Qurbani”. It is better that one chooses an animal and cherishes it and becomes wonted with it, as this animal is to become the great reimburse and not only that, but it is a replacement for the sacrifice of one’s own blood. “Udhiya” means “blood sacrifice” in Arabic and “Qurbani” is a Persian & Urdu word which means an action fulfilled to gain Almighty Allah’s (God’s) happiness. It is strictly used for the carnage of animals slaughtered for the happiness of Almighty Allah (God). The carnage of animals has always been a well-known type of worship in many religions, but in the “Shariah” (Islamic law) of our beloved holy Prophet the carnage of animals has been well-known as a kind of worship which is only performed during the three days of the month of Zulhijjah, which are 10th, 11th, and 12th.

Online QurbaniThe real reason of sacrifice is to accomplish Almighty Allah’s (God’s) and to near Him. A Muslim who sacrifices an animal nears Almighty Allah (God) and attains His blessings. Sacrifice is also an example of collective support and consensus. In common, the poor consume most part of the meat of the sacrificed animals. It is viewed; approaching Almighty Allah (God) and serving the needy prevails in the soul of this worship. At least 1/3rdof the meat from the animal must go to poor or vulnerable people and the2/3rdof the meat for his family and give the final third to neighbors and relatives. Hazrat Abu Hurairah may Almighty Allah (God) be pleased with him states that; the Disciples of Almighty Allah (God) peace and blessings be upon him has said: “Whoever is capable to perform sacrifice and does not, he should not come to perform Eid prayer.” (Ibn Majah). So we can see the significance of “Udhiya” (sacrificed) from the mentioned ‘Hadith’, so each and every Muslim who is compelled should perform it, and if possible within their reach. This will not only form an atmosphere of ‘Eid’ and ‘Qurbani’ in the society but will also benefit as a lesson for ages to come.

Sadqa Al-Fitr: Breaking a fast

Sadaqat e wajiba

According to our holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, every Muslim should give Sadaqa Al-Fitar. A sum equal to one Sa’a of grain.”Definition of (Sa’a), a prehistoric gauge of volume or weight,” different minds have struggled to clarify this volume in current measurements. The most popular perception is that one Sa’a is equivalent to 2.05 kilograms of wheat. Each individual Muslim is to give away this amount male or female, adult or child, ill or vigorous, aged or young. The senior associate of the house is accountable for paying the amount on behalf of the family. Hazrat- Ibn ‘Umar states that the holy Prophet instructed that (Zakat al-Fitr) should be given before Muslims go to perform the (`Eid) prayers .Our beloved holy Prophet’s associates Hazrat Ibn ‘Umar used to always give it to those who would accept it .This indicates that we must inform in advance, this sum is associated to Sadqa Al-Fitar to our deprived Muslim brother’s and sister’s before handing over the alms to them.

Sadaqa Al-Fitr is humanitarian alms associated to the holy month of Ramadan. The word Fitr means the same as Iftar, breaking a fast and it comes from the same source word as Futoor which means breakfast. We must hand-over the alms just before the Eid-Al-Fitar invocation. This invocation happens early in the morning after Fajar prayer on the 1st of Shawwal, the month following Ramadan. After the growth of Islam the legal scholars authorized its payment from the rise and mid of Ramadan so as to confirm that the Zakat al-Fitr is delivered to its beneficiaries on the day of `Eid. It is particularly highlighted that the distribution be before the `Eid prayers in order that the needful who collect are able to use the fitr for their dependents on the day of `Eid. Zakat al-Fitr is only WA’ jib for a specific time period. If someone misses the specific time phase without a good excuse, he will be accounted as a sinner and will not be able to make it up. This type of charity becomes compulsory from sunset on the last day of fasting and remains compulsory until the beginning of” Eid Prayers”.

Sadqa kr k Takabur

Who can be the beneficiary of Sadaqa Al-Fitr?

Sadaqa Al-Fitr is meant for associates of the Muslim fraternity who do not have enough to feed themselves and their family members. The beneficiaries of Zakat can also be the beneficiaries of Sadaqa Al-Fitr and it can also traditionally be given directly to individuals in need. In some situations, you may hand-over the alms straight away to a known deprived family. However, some very famous, trusted and reputed Islamic Charitable Organizations accept cash donations which they use to promote Islam in a very significant manner in various Departments and forms. One of them is Dawat-e-Islami اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ it has been vigorously busy in serving the dominant religion of Islam. Institutions like Madrasa-tul-Madina for the education of Hifz and Naazra, Jamia-tul-Madina for making Islamic scholars. The institution depends on public donations and support.

ZAKAT THE PURIFIER

dawateislami donation

Remittance made yearly according to Islamic law on certain kinds of property and used for welfare and religious cause, one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

In Arabic it means “that which decontaminates”, is a form of compulsory bounty-giving and saintly tax in Islam. It is established on earnings and the value of all of one’s hold. It is usually 2.5% of a Muslim’s total earnings, cut and riches exceeding a minimal amount called Nisab .The collected sum is paid pursuant to the Quran in surah At-Tawba (chapter 9), verse 60: “Zakat outlay are only for the poor and for the deprived and for those appointed to gather [zakat] and for conducting hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing prisoners [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [abandoned] traveler – a duty [established] by Allah . And Allah is significant and knowledgeable”.

Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, compulsory for all Muslims. Zakat is a humanitarian subsidy, and is reckoning as an Islamic tax.

A Muslim who has some riches and still does not pay off zakat he is considered as a serious offender in the verdict of Allah. He will be strictly penalized on the Doomsday. Our holy Prophet has narrated: “The person who holds gold and silver and does not give zakat, on the Doomsday, piece of fire will be made for him. These pieces will be heated in the fire of Hell and his sides, forehead and back will be marked with them. When these pieces become cool, they will be re-heated and the uninterrupted action will be restated.” Our holy Prophet has narrated: “A Muslim who has been granted riches by Allah and in spite he does not give zakat, on the Doomsday all his riches will transform into a gigantic poisonous snake which will confine his neck. It will then shred the sides of his mouth apart and will rebuke him: ‘I am your riches and I am your treasure troves.'” Who can bear such an unsparing bashing? It is the acme of idiocy and ignorance that we are ready to suffer the consequences for a little avarice and greed on our part. It is immensely foolish and inappropriate to deny spending in the trajectory of Allah from the riches that Allah has given to us.

The capital owned is fewer than the nisaab, zakat will not be WA’ jib on the person. However, if the person has some more riches upon which zakat is obligatory, then this capital should be included to the riches owned. If, after collecting them jointly, they equal the nisaab, zakat will be WA’ jib on the entire total.

hadees for zakat

The discharge of Zakat:

After the end of the year, zakat should be handed-over instantly. It is not a healthy custom to holdup in conducting good virtues because it is viable that demise may over-whelm while his responsibilities still persist on his shoulders. If handing-over zakat is delayed to such an expanse that the second year also finishes, the person will be an offender but he can still regret for this sin and hand-over  zakat immediately.
