Wonders of His Royal Highness Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ)

Sayyidi Arif Billah Nooruddin Abdur Rahman Jami (قُـدِّسَ سِـرُّهُ الـسَّامِی) has said in Shawahid-un-Nubuwwah: Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) was inborn on 4th of “Shaaban” on Tuesday in 4 AH in Madina-tul-Munawarah (زَادَھَـا الـلّٰـهُ شَـرَفًـا وَّ تَـعۡـظِیۡـمًا). It is reported that Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) was born after pregnancy duration of only 6 months. Rather than Sayyiduna Yahya (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام) and Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) no child could survive after birth the pregnancy period of six months.

All devotions to Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)the king of kings of the galaxies and sanctification is aloft the holy Rasool, the sanctified Prophet, the Revealer, the Honest and aloft his offspring’s, the sanctified People of the house, and many curses be on all their rivals. No matter how all-powerful the dictators are and no matter how protracted their dictatorship survives, it is of no prosperity because Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) the utmost Highest is All-Supreme among all. He penalizes and addresses with various forms of punishments in this world and the Hereafter. The identical law applies to every soul born from the first day till the compensation day and especially to those who discriminated Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا). They assassinated him and humiliated the People of the house. Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) penalized them in various ways and made them aftertaste the sourness of various disasters though their punishments would be very much more in the hereafter. Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) always helps his promise and shades those who shield the principles and also those who have to counter discrimination in the way of promoting the facts.

Those who strive to keep the holy name of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) highlighted and welcome the abuse calmly for shielding the facts, have become legendary in this living world and their rivals shall inhabit in the Hellfire eternally; an regrettable fate! After the assassination of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) revealed many evidences and marvels that explained the integrity of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) and his utmost high and honor status near Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). Therefore their titles and memories will remain viable always till the uprising of the compensation day. It is very important to reference some of the characters and cloudless evidence cited by various Islamic origins that became evident after the assassination of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا). The severed sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) narrated the holy Quran and blessings while it was carried above on the peak of a pierce.

One of the marvels Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) blessed Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) was that his sanctified head recited the holy verses of the holy Quran as it was moved from the deserts of “Karbala”– to Shaam – (new) Syria – and circled back again to “Karbala” where it was entombed in the grave along with his blessed and spiritual body this rare occurrence demonstrates a supporting role in influencing the Muslim Ummah to principles. The sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) also dialogued in the tribunal of the heinous Czar Yazeed. When the sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) appeared at the tribunal of Yazeed, the Roman delegates of the empire of Rome also existed. After recognizing that the victims were the people of the house of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) of Islam, and the sanctified head of the grandson of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) was amidst them, the Roman delegates contradicted to and criticized Yazeed harshly. In reply to this disapproval Yazeed ordered the Roman delegates to be executed instantly. The sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) announced in a roaring speech, “There is no supremacy but that of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)”. At that incident and at many other incidents during the pilgrimage encircling Karbala to Shaam and back, general public were surprised to witness and overhear the sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein vocal, and they learned that this was no traditional act but a spiritual marvel and Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) is proving them the substantiality of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا). Such acts disclosed to the nations the truth and the implication of the hadith narrated by the holy Messenger of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ), “I leave behind two important values, the holy Quran and my kinship” the people concluded that the faith is with Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) when they saw the marvels of his sanctified head preaching or narrating the holy Qur’an.

After the assassination of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) many amazing wonders were presented from his sanctified head. Companions of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) arrived in Kuffa on the 11th of Muharram-ul-Haram but the sanctified heads of the saints of Karbala had arrived before them. The sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) was in the custody of the ill-doomed barbarous “Kholi Bin Yazeed”. When he reached “Kuffa” the doorway of the state house was closed because it was late in the night, so he carried the sanctified head to his house. He situated the sanctified head on the ground discourteously and topped the sanctified head with an object. He stated to his wife: “I have something to present to you, the greatest treasure of the entire universe. The sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) she screamed fiercely and replied “People bring riches and you have carried the sanctified head of the holy Prophet’s grandson! I swear upon Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). Curse is upon you of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) I will no longer live with you anymore. While leaving the house she saw a beam of dazzling light from the sky upon the object  like a free standing column and creamy white saintly birds were circling around it.” At the beginning of the day, Kholi Bin Yazeed carried the sanctified head to the vicious Ibn Ziyad. It is stated by: Sayyiduna Zayd Bin Arqam (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) “When the commanders of Yazeed’s army lifted the sanctified head of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْه) on a spear and marched on the market pavements of Kuffa, at that very time I was on the upper floor in my house; just as the sanctified and luminous head passed by me I overheard the sanctified head narrating the 9th verse of Surah Al-Kahf:

اَمۡ  حَسِبۡتَ   اَنَّ   اَ صۡحٰبَ  ا لۡکَہۡفِ   وَ  الرَّ قِیۡمِ  ۙ   کَانُوۡا  مِنۡ   اٰیٰتِنَا   عَجَبًا   ﴿۹﴾

“Did you come to know that the men of the cave and of the jungle’s side were a wonderful sign of ours?”

Who was the Conquistador of Karbala?

Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and the people of the house were martyred in the Ashoora’s catastrophic occurrence, people of the house were taken in custody, their possessions were robbed and destroyed but the desire and holy vision of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) flourished and will live forever. The visions was to promote and reinforce Islam and discard the barbarity, dictatorship and invasion, which has been drifting onwards along the unified period of past and much of manhood are the heritors and bearers of the flag of this faith and goal. The intention of Yazeed was eradicated and declined; because his particular intention was not assassinating Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and his companions rather it was to wrap up Islamic laws and eliminate the enlightenments of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) of Islam. Since Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was on that path and footprints of the beloved Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), Yazeed’s logic was by assassinating Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and taking his kinship in custody the legend will end and his limits will be accomplished. Islamic philosophers and annalist have stated that the early indication of the final hour nearing was the departure of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). This was a tragedy for the Muslim Ummah, which is far greater than any other tragedy that the Muslim Ummah will have to ever face. The consequences of this were witnessed not too long after the departure of our holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ).

Despite a small number of obvious people think that Yazeed won the Ashoorah bloodshed and Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was overcome. But by reviewing the Islamic version seriously and completely they would acknowledge that the aspect was opposite from it. For, conquering and attaining it does not mean that a character must stay untouched and unharmed and the rival be perished. It actually means growth in accomplishing collective objectives and ambitions and hope and beliefs even though one is assassinated. Failure does not mean being assassinated in the battleground, but it actually means the demise and destruction of desire, goal and faith. After, the calamity and misfortune of “Karbala” the flag of the pride of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and setback of Yazeed became apparent and visible, because where ever the people of the house of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) set their feet people presented their feelings, of concern and bonding with them and slandered their rivals, to such degree, that also the tribe representatives of Yazeed did not give him much consideration. Instead, some of his close family members elevated criticism and harshly admonished and accursed him.

Totally sophisticated but acting to be ignorant of this law that Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)God alone is the defender and caretaker of Islam, the holy Quran and the guidance of the holy Prophets (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). The dictator, czar imperious and dominant of the past “Who” consistently erected up facing the Prophet’s and apposed them, assassinated or outlawed them, they had the identical hateful goal but achieved zero. What achievement can be superior and transparent than this that many ages have elapsed and there is no sign and title of those dictators of the history among us? But the holy Prophets of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) God and the, holy custodians still have their spot in the bottom of the hearts of the knowing, wise, and concerned people.

Make no mistake, the chronicles of Karbala is dominant and unravels the greatest imperial of human integrity. It is the evasive consolidation of honesty and sincerity, the combination of the imperial hero and ethereal holy person, the agonizing truth of discrimination and agonizing history of believe which makes this specific fact reflect in the hearts and souls of innumerable in habitations.

The world honors them regarding their passion and do not support the memories of the “Czars”. Today we witness that the holy shrines of religious personalities and the true evolution makers of Islamic history have got dedicated admirers who journey great outskirts after practicing the difficulties and hardships, to bow down there hearts to their holy shrines and share their tragedy with them. But the ruins of the dictators of the past have none habitué because they have nothing to give….

The Martyrdom at Karbala was an inhuman bloodshed towards a small category of men, women and infants who physically encountered an enormous battalion while desirous for water and in grief, experiencing their beloved ones being assassinated in front of their very eyes. The limited class of community was the cherished family members of the utmost embraced holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). The principle trailing this horror is just as agonizing as the physical event when we scrutinize that barbarous troops were also Muslims unfortunately. The people of Kuffa who in effect abandoned and betrayed the Clique and treasured children of the holy prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ).They were the very same people who had recited the “kalmia” with the holy Prophet’s (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) name. This was not a battle between skeptics trying to moderate the holy directives of Islam as in the conflict of Uhud or Badr but were indeed namely Muslims slaying the People of the house of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). This is the catastrophe that we so neglect while recollecting the disaster and utmost grand sacrifice with invocations, blubbering and various types of charity.

The Grandson of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ)

imam hussain jannat k sardarHazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was inborn to the offspring of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), Hazrat Fatima (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا), in the holy Islamic month of Shaaban 3/4 Hijra, in the time of illiteracy, before the time of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) no one was regarded with this name. When Hazrat Imam Hussein was born, the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) recited the holy “Azan” in his ears. On the seventh day, after the childbirth of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), the Angel Hazrat Jibraeel (عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام) came to the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) and recommended him the name of the infant baby “Hussein” and declared “As Hazrat Haroon (عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام) was the holy brother, comforter, and companion in each and every hardship of Hazrat Moosa (عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام) alike that Hazrat Ali (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) is your comforter, companion and brother in each and every thing. Therefore, name this child as the name of Haroon’s offspring ‘Shabbier’ in Hebrew, which transliterated into Arabic becomes ‘Hussein’.

Hazrat Abu SA’d Khudri (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) states that the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) said that Hazrat Hassan (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and Hazrat Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) are the commanders of the teenagers in the holy “Heaven”.

Hazrat Hafiz Ibn Katheer (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) addresses one day an angel came and sat beside by the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). Our holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) stated to Hazrat Salma (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) the wife of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) and the holy mother of the disciples), “we have a visitor, do not permit entrance to anyone as we are having a discourse.” In the meantime Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), who at that time was very immature, entered the nest, and as infants usually do, he crawled over the shoulders of our holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). The angel inquired “You love your grandson very much” the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) said “Yes”. The holy angel “Jibraeel” (عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام) then replied “Your devotees will surely at an ensuing future saint him. If you desire I may show you the place he will be martyred. The holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) replied with the willingness to see where his grandson will be martyred. The angel then fluttered his hand and presented some rosy sand and stated, “This is the exact place where he will surely be assassinated”. The holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) took some earth from his palm and handed it to Hazrat Salma (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) which was preserved by her in a bottle.

After this incident it became evident amid the associates of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) that Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) will be martyred in the ground of Karbala. The holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) told them that if any one of you exists at the time, they should endorse him. Hazrat Anas bin Harris (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) supported him in Karbala and was also martyred.

In a narrative it is stated that once Hazrat Ali (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), (may Allah Most High be pleased with him), was traveling through a country he stopped and inquired: “What is this region entitled? He was replied, “The Plain of Karbala.” Hazrat Ali (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) rested there and offered Salah (prayer) and then stated that the group of people who will be martyred here will have the topmost position among martyrs, after the holy Associates, and they will enter “Heaven” without any assessment. While Hazrat Ali (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was there he highlighted the spot where his son would be martyred. The narrator certifies that Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was in fact martyred in the precise spot Hazrat Ali (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) had highlighted. This unique factual sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and his limited line of adherent compared to the army of Yazeed has attracted the thoughts of historiographers, theorist, and authors around the globe, in all eras of history.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) says the coolness of our eyes the holy highness (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) came to us, and on one his shoulder was Hazrat Hassan (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and on the other Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ). On the way towards us we saw that frequently he would kiss Hazrat Hassan (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ). Someone inquired and asked, “Dear holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) do you love them extremely? The loving Prophet said (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) and whoever shall do so I will surely love him immensely and whoever holds an animosity against them, he indeed holds an animosity towards me?”

The collections of these Hadiths are from the holy Bukharee shareef, the holy Muslim shareef, the holy Tirmizi shareef, and other related books of Hadith. These hadiths have been accepted as authentic a hadith by all of the following scholars:

‘And (as for) those who moved in Almighty Allah’s way and are then slaughtered or perish, Almighty Allah(عَزَّوَجَلَّ) will indeed award them a sizable aid, and most indeed Almighty Allah(عَزَّوَجَلَّ) is the best Giver of aid.’ (Surah Hajj (22): Verse 58)

The Historical Truth of “Karbala”: 10th of Muharram

10th Muharram - DawateislamiHussein was the youngest grandsons of the holy Prophet Muhammad (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), and the youngest son of Hazrat Bibi Fatima (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا), the holy offspring of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). The holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) dearly adored his both grandsons, and because he had no extant sons, he called them his “sons,” with care & tenderness.

Muharram is the earliest in order month of the Islamic calendar year. A vital and dreadful incident occurred on the 10thof Muharram that rocked the Muslim Ummah. It was the bloodshed of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), his clique members, and his companions by the infantry of Yazeed. He became the dictatorial emperor of the Muslim Ummah at that time; he came to become the Islamic ruler after Mu’awiya (father of Yazeed) died. Mu’awiya disobeyed the conditions of this agreement and, nominated his son Yazeed as his heir. Yazeed was an evil and corrupt man with no sense of humor. He promoted crime and forced to win public ground. Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), as the patron and advocate of the Islamic religion sanctioned by his gracious grandpa, the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), denied swearing loyalty to him. Yazeed understood that he could never establish and reinforce his ruling without the zeal of Hazrat Imam Husain, the grandson of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). Therefore, he concluded that he would in general pressure Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) to surrender to his rulings, or contrarily he will have him assassinated.

Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), was fulfilling the pilgrimage in Mecca, message was received that soldiers had been appointed by Yazeed to assassinate him. Ambitious to defend the holiness of the spiritual City of Mecca, he stopped his pilgrimage and en routed for Kuffa, on proposal of the community there to come and educate them about Islam. He travelled with his family members and close friends. His excursion to Kuffa was interrupted by a disengagement of Yazeed’s battalion, commanded by Huur. He was ordered to divert Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) to the arid expanse of Karbala, on the riverside of the River Euphrates. In order to prevent massacre, Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) preferred not to confront, and pursued Hurr’s instructions. He and his associates were enforced to post camp at a great reach from the riverside, which was the solely origin of water supply in the range.

The food and water supplies were restricted onwards from 7thMuharram by the orders of Ibn Zayd the ruling governor of Kuffa for Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and his companions. In the intervening time, the status of Yazeed’s battalion was expanding by the masses. The scorching sun blistered the arid sand, and the appetite was becoming insufferable in Hazrat Imam Husain’s camp. Especially the infants were exhausted and feeble, and Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) requested Yazeed’s battalion to allow water supplies for the infants, but there was no answer to the request sent by Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ).

Fajir prayers “Salah” were performed in holy camps of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and Yazeed’s battalion was ready to attack the defenders of Islam. Individually, his followers and members of the family took approval to go out and combat and sacrifice their lives in the aid of Islam. Among the bravest of all the soldiers fighting for Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) side were his two nephews. The leader of Hazrat Imam Hussein’s army was Hazrat Abbas (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), who had affiliated his valor from his holy father ‘Hazrat Ali (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ), the Lion of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ).Hazrat Abbas (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) inquired permission from Hazrat Imam Hussein to go and battle his course round the river and fetch back some water for offspring Sakina, The holy 4 years daughter of Hazrat Imam Hussein, and the other infants. Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) unwillingly permitted him to go and bring water. Hazrat Abbas (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) took a dry decanter and erupted towards into Yazeed’s army, piercing between the forces, and gloriously arrived at the river bank. As Hazrat Abbas (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was filling the vessel with water he speculated that how can he drink water while the people of the house and especially the infants back at camp are thirsty. Hazrat Abbas (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) fought with tremendous efforts and continued battling; persistent not to give up to those who had marked the rise of dictatorship in Islam but unfortunately could not send more to “Hell” .The complete battalion of Yazeed gathered upon him and passed away guarding the valued vessel of water. A brutal archer from Yazeed’s battalion struck an arrow that pierced into the body of the baby child, slaying him in the sanctified arms of Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ).

Expeditiously, Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was deserted to confront Yazeed’s battalion, whereas all the competent male representatives of the holy camp had passed away battling respectfully. He made an ultimate approach towards Yazeed’s army, recalling them of his affinity with the holy and blessed Prophet of Islam, the affection and dignity which the holy Prophet expressed upon him, and the various established practices in which the holy Prophet had cautioned the Muslims not to go against or harm him. He also notified them of his ambition to support the principle and his stature as the present sincere guardian of the holy religion of Islam. He was deserted with no option but to take a solid stand in defiance of distortion, and to battle for the safeguarding of Islam. He battled courageously, and in the end he won martyrdom.

The meaning of Hazrat Imam Husain’s Martyrdom

Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) preferred not to residence in Mecca because he did not want his bloodshed to dishonor the holy city. So he preferred to set off to Iraq, where his goal would obtain the utmost means, and where Yazeed’s immoral face would be greatly disclosed. This action of detail demonstrated that Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) was true. We can observe that Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) protected Islam from extinction by enduring his life.

Yazeed had been strong; victorious in obtaining the loyalty of the huge bulk of Muslims, and the rest of the Muslim Ummah was in a condition of ethical coma. The law of Islam was being shattered, the Sunnah of the holy Prophet was being altered, and fake customs were being fabricated to legitimize the laws of Yazeed. It was the unique sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) and his loyal companions that awoke the Islamic Ummah out of its sleep. The Muslims were enforced to question why? The blessed son of Hazrat Bibi Fatimah (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) had been assassinated so ferociously, it also unfolded the actual character of Yazeed and his followers.

Conclusion of Hazrat Imam Husain’s accomplishments: Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) by questioning Yazeed and in the action sacrificing his life turned the planet and transformed humanity endlessly. Yazeed, and surely all upcoming tyrants, were put on Back foot that they will not be accepted, and that principle and Islamic law would be supported and would eventually flourish, unconcerned of the costs.

Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) preferred not to retreat or conceal from Yazeed, because that would not have unmasked the ugly face of Yazeed and would have helped to decriminalize his unfair ruler ship. He knew that by refusing Yazeed’s interest, he would probably be assassinated. Undoubtedly, he surely did not want to perish like many other martyrs. He wanted his demise to aid as an opening flare for a transformation that would reinforce Islamic integrity and obstruct terrorism for all generations to come. Why did Hazrat Imam Hussein (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) take all the people of the house along?

Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) traveled towards “Kuffa” along with (the people of the house)because he wanted to ensure that after his demise, his directives would be advanced by the people of the house, and Yazeed would not be able to censor the facts  of Hazrat Imam Hussein’s considerations. Record verifies that it was a vivid act. His holy sister Hazrat Bibi Zainab (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا), with her intellectual and fearless confabulation, and with no apprehension of the lunatic Yazeed, precisely declared the fact and made public the fabrication of Yazeed in his own tribunal. He was unable to speak and embarrassed before her. Yazeed’s tribunal was crowded with important personalities consisting of both regional and from other democracy. They were startled upon learning the fact exerted so forcibly, and almost each and every eye was bearing tears. The identical picture was remade in the streets and markets of “Kuffa” and on the journey path of the survivors. Hazrat Imam Husain (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُ) had established the infrastructure of the transformation with his bloodshed. His holy sister Hazrat Zainab (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا) charged the transformation with her speech. That transformation reformed the world endlessly.

Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) is an excellent ideal guide for all the Female Muslims all over the globe. The sacrifices made by her and her inputs for preaching Islam are countless. Her well-known title was “Malikat-ul-Arab”. Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) had a rooted devotion to the religion of Islam, also devotion and acceptance towards Almighty Allah. She donated all her riches for Islam and settled by the side of her husband, the Prophet of Islam (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ).

The tremendous honor for Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) is that Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) accepted her strives and revealed the following Verses of the holy Quran: “And when we found you in need, we made you needless” – Surah 93 (Zuha): Verse 8.

After her father’s death Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) administrated the ancestry trade, and as an outcome, it swiftly enlarged. With the income Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) aided the needy, widows, orphans, the ill and the handicapped. If there were any needy girls, Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) wedded them, and provided them with dowry. Some tribe representatives functioned as Hazrat Khadija’s (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) advisory Councils on trade’s essential features but she depended on her personal wisdom, yet she still greeted their opinions and studied it. Mostly vendors having merchandise to trade as Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) didn’t have any curiosity in crusading with their convoys. So handlers were usually preferred for the errands that were usually well reputed for business sense. Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) would contract an agent whenever her merchandise was loaded and ready to sail away. By carefully appointing wise handlers, and purchasing and auctioning at the appropriate moment and at the suitable point, Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) made unbelievable incomes, which transformed her into the wealthiest exporter in Mecca. Whenever convoys of the Macca traders set out on their quests, the merchandise of Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) alone was if compared equal to the merchandise of all the other traders of the “Quraiesh” if compiled together. The locals of Mecca called Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) as the “Empress” of “Quraiesh” because she exhibited the traditional “fortune touch,” which hinted that whatever she touched virtually converted into fortune. It was when she had sent the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) as her delegate to trade her goods along with her loyal slave and he returned with exceptional details of not only the holy Prophet’s (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) abilities in dealing but also his unprecedented personality that Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) anticipated of sharing her life, soul and belongings with him.

In the meantime, the loyal slave informed Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) about the strange events that occurred and among these was the unbelievable view of witnessing “Archangels” overshadowing Muhammad (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) from the penetrating sun.  When Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا), wedded the Holy Prophet the groom was approximately 25 years old, the bride, 40 years old but the contrast was perfectly invisible as the groom was the most handsome and noble among all men, the bride was the most gorgeous and charming among all women. The groom was the most courageous, faithful, the trustworthy, the decisive and the sincere male of Makkah as for the bride was called “Tahirah”, the purest one, and the “Empress” of “Quraiesh” and Makkah.

It was an incomparable match that demonstrated to be the most sanctified wedlock on earth. The bridegroom was Muhammad bin Abdullah (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) and the bride, Hazrat Khadija bint-e- Khuwaylad (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا). She was from the same Banu Hashim family of the Banu Asad clique from which our Holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) existed.

When Islam was under immense pressure from its adversaries, Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) deserted her luxuries, her riches and her homeland and even devoted her life in the prosperous way of Islam. She elected to posture beside her husband and his clique, and to share the catastrophe of life with them. She had to face not only the discomfort of starvation and craving but also the limit of hot weather in riot time and freezing weather in winter tides; yet she never grumbled about them. Whether occasions were acceptable or unacceptable, she had little or much, she was always happy. Harshness and difficulties never unsettled her. It was this attitude which was an unending means of satisfaction, determination and stability for her husband all along the ebony and arduous stage of his life.

After the announcement, she was the first to welcome Islam and Muhammad (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) as the holy prophet of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). The honor and importance of being the first woman devote in the entire world, is hers forever.  She backed him with all she had, perception, happiness, and riches, when all tribes of Makkah became his opponent and victimized him repeatedly.

Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) was the well-off entrepreneur of the complete Arab territory and after the announcement of Islam by the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) she donated all her riches for the benefit of Islam.  A cloak of the holy Prophet was used as a shroud for her, and she was given a burial in it. The holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) forever recalled Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) with tenderness, strong fondness and appreciation. Her death grasped his heart with much agony and pain. Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) passed away on the 10 Ramadan of the 10th year of the announcement of Islam in 619, and she was laid to rest by the holy Messenger of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ), he himself went down into her grave to lay in it for a few minutes. He (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) leveled the earth on her grave after the burial.

He loved Hazrat Khadija (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) so dearly that after she passed away he used to often remember her. Hazrat Khadija’s (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) prestige was such that the Angel Jibraeel (عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام) used to bring greetings (سَّلام) for her from Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ).

The Noble Companions (عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّضْوَان) of the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ)

Khane kabba - DawateisalmiThe spiritual Companions (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا), of the Holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) are those great personalities of the world, who are exceptional and better than anyone other than the Prophets and Messengers of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) God. By their accomplishments they acquired the gratification of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) God and His holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ).

“You are the finest of humans ever dignified for humankind, you advise well and outlaw immoral, and you trust in Allah.” [3:110]

The Associates of the holy Prophet of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) God are disseminated completely over the nirvana of Islam like the dazzling stars on the sky. They were personalities who eagerly acknowledged to the statement of the holy Prophet (peace be upon him) when he presented the directive of the wholeness of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) God. They did not embrace Islam with any greedy cause or gaining anything. It is not hard to comprehend from a debate of the situation dominant at the onset of Islam that it was a very demanding era for the Muslims. To preach Islam in those days meant to draw inconvenience and hardship of oneself. Although those startled souls, the associates of the holy prophets, known as “Sahabah”, endorsed Islam without any concern of strain and barbarity. No one could prosper obtaining such divine character in loyalty and ability as these few prosperous ones. By abiding all types of embarrassments and unacceptable horror in the path and passion for the spiritual message and zeal to virtuous path, they set patterns which will present a guide line for the seekers of truthfulness and justice.

When we interpret the life experiences of the holy Associates, we feel a desirous to pursue their precedent. We feel a very strong desire to be from in our faith and to organize the picture of Islam. We have to admit that had not Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) caused those remarkable people; our holy religion would not have come to us in its pure form. Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) had created those dignified Associates of our holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) to shield our articles of faith. Next to the lives of the messengers of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ). It is the lives of these wise advisers which play as the finest models for us. The aspect in which the holy Associates went onward with the Islamic developments, the efforts they made in supporting the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), and the passion and spirit with which they headed for circulating the note of Islam, carry a good lesson for all human beings of the world, particularly the Muslims. For a long time now there has been a perception that the biography of those beacons of Islam should be bestowed to our children for rectifying the evil of our current civilization.

In a Hadith the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ) stated, “The tribes of Israel dispersed into seventy- two sections. My Ummah will disperse into seventy-three sections. All of them will be in the Fire of Hell, excluding one: the one on which I am upon, and my Companions.” [At-Tirmidhee Shareef].

Isam - DawateislamiAll this should correspond as testimony that the factual comprehension of Islam is that of the “Sahabah” (رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْھا) and all those who followed their avenue, in principle. They are the very best genesis of Islam and they accepted the holy Quran (Koran) and Sunnah the best.  Why should we not be contented to those who trusted in the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ), supported him, and struggled with their lives and riches to make the Word of Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) infinite, guarded and inherited to us our Religion? Who is more worthy that we address for them and publicize of them in the best aspect and think of them with the best reflection?

We ask Almighty Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) to permit us to comprehend practically the lives of the Associates and to make our lives mirror theirs. As Ibn Taymeeyah states: “Whoever will read their biographies with wisdom and understanding he will come to know the rewards bestowed by Almighty Allah(عَزَّوَجَلَّ) upon them and he will definitely understand that these are the very best among humanity after the Prophets.

Who are “Sahaba’s”? – Why respect them?

A Muslim who perceives with his eyes the holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم just only for a short while, whether they are a child or an adult, they will be called “Sahabah” رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُم with the condition of passing from this world as a devotee; the dupe law implements to visionless Muslims who have just talked with the holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم at least once in a life-time. If a pessimist sees the holy Prophet Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ and then accompanies the devotees after the demise of the holy Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم, he will not be considered a “Sahabah”.

UN doubtfully, the soul style and experiences of the holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم and his companions رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُم are the very capable origin producing courage of faith and devotion for the believe .The Ummah and the call towards believe has always been illustrating glitter of faith from these origin and it is by this that the cinders of their souls have been kept glowing.

They generally agreed upon animosity contrary to their caste, people and encounter their cruelty, brutality and left their motherland and emigrated to Madīnaĥ, all of this just for the sake of exercising and extending the religion of Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ . They fought along the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم), against the non-Muslims, with their prosperity and souls. Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ elected them to place the obligation of safeguarding the Religion of Islam for the upcoming formations and it is because of them that the Religion is sustained; as the holy Prophet (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم) said:

“The finest among all are my “Sahaba’s” then those who pursue them and then those who pursue them” [Saheeh Bukharee].

The memoir of the companion’s رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہُم consists of the history of men who welcomed the proposal of Islam when it was bestowed to them. Their souls indicated to its legitimacy and they proclaimed when called towards Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and his beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم. “Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ we have UN doubtfully perceived the caller (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم) calling towards faith”. By placing their hands in hands of the holy Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم, it became uncomplicated for them to sacrifice their souls their riches and their tribes. They started searching for comfort in the obstacles and crisis that troubled them in the line of inviting others towards Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. This aspect principle penetrated their souls and obtained ability over their frames and wisdoms. They presented the astonishing faith in the invisible, never-ending love for Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and his beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم, tenderness for the Muslims and severity for the non-Muslims .They elected the after-world upon this world, tribute (the compensation of the after-world) to refund (the prize of this world), the invisible to the visible and intelligence to unintelligence. They were ambitious to encourage people toward Islam, Thus extracting the humanity from bondage to the formation and taking them towards the subjugation of Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ only. They detached humanity from the discrimination of other religions and harvested them in to the justified religion of Islam.

They presented no interest for the attractiveness and pride of the world and strived to meet Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and enter the promised “Heavens”. They also displayed excellent determination and vision in extending the souvenir of Islam and conveying it to the mankind with the expenditure of their souls. For this ambition they advanced throughout the far borders of the world saving no force to skyline as far as they could. In doing so, they kept aside their individual gratification, relinquished their leisure’s abandoned their homelands and nobly passed their lives and riches. They progressed in this aspect until the infrastructure of faith was entrenched; souls and hearts flourished with the true love of Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and the divine and sanctified breeze of faith blew sincerely. Finally the sacrifices and efforts were fruitfully blessed and an empire of “Tauheed”, faith, worship and continuity was established.
