Islam and western World

Dear Islamic brothers!  In this age and time of materialism where everyone is running behind money, name, fame and worldly success, almost every individual finds himself forced to adopt western way of life. It is generally believed that western culture and following its values guarantees “success” to its followers in this world. That is why we see People blindly following it without knowing the harms and dangers it is bringing along with it.

Everyone knows that it is the western world and its culture which have made parents unmindful of their children. Neighbors are indifferent to the neighbors.  Spouses are always in the fear of losing one and other and youth is in the state of confusion and bewilderment. Piety is no more admired but it is abhorred. Modesty has become a stigma and gentle manliness a sign of boring personality. One needs to be open, bold and shameless in order to keep himself going along the pace and current of this modern mode of life.

We also know that Western culture and values are very rapidly overpowering every other culture and values. But we have also to admit that they are bringing in their wake depression, frustration, moral corruption and ever growing greed of attaining what one does not have. In short the general dissatisfaction with life is a byproduct of this so called modern way of life.

After reading the above state of the affairs, there are some questions which naturally arise in a curious mind “is there any solution for this decayed state of affairs? How can one save humanity from the clutches of this perpetual degeneration? Is there any code of life which not only ensures the moral and spiritual well being of humanity but also fulfills the requirements of this world as well? ”

Dear brothers! Yes there is an answer to all these questions. There is a curing remedy for all these ailments. There is an ointment for healing all the scars and wounds on the soul of humanity. The name of this remedy and ointment is Islam.

Islam-a religion, not only ensures the success in both the worlds but also promises the eternal bliss from the creator.

Islamic beliefs and values make a man a complete man. If one needs peace of heart and mind Islam has it in its store and announces “Truly, in remembering God do hearts find rest” (Qur’an, 13:28)

The gripping anxiety a modern man is suffering is direct consequences of being unmindful of Almighty Allah. Anyone who turns away from the remembrance of Almighty Allah will have a life of hardship in this world. Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ) has said: { And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.} (Qur’an, 20:124)

Another major problem mankind is facing today is racism. In spite of its glory and success west is unable to eradicate the racism. Islam has a practical solution to this curse in form of salah and pilgrimage. In salah anyone can become leader of prayer without any discrimination of cast, color or race as long he fulfills the requirements of leading a salah. In pilgrimage everyone is allowed to come and visit the house of Allah and stand shoulder to shoulder without any discrimination of cast, color and race.

Another characteristic of Islam is its promotion of positive outlook on life which discourages every kind of pessimism and negative attitude. The followers of Islam are always told to remain content with the divine decisions and submit to His will. The adversities whatsoever instead of creating suicidal tendencies in a Muslim remind him of paradise and its bounties which are waiting for him if he exercises patience at the time of these adversities.

We are well aware of the fact that family is the basic unit of society and it is this basic unit which ensures a peaceful society. Islam recognizes this fact and gives clear guidelines in this regard as well. In Islam husband is the head of family and it is his responsibility to keep his wife on the straight path. Other than that a father is also responsible for the proper upbringing of his children. And upbringing does not mean only physical grooming of them but it also includes necessary religious education and building of their moral character on the guidelines of sharia. Quran says {O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones}(Quran 66:6)

Islam is indeed the only solution for the problem humanity facing at this point in time. May Almighty Allah enable us to understand the value of this great gift. Ameen.

What are the Basic Beliefs of Muslims?

Religion has always been a source of guidance for humanity. And a perfect religion is only that which guides and instructs its followers not only in their day to day dealings but also in their creed to set a right direction for them in this temporary life. Moreover when both these things are combined together and are observed with full spirit only then we find a human being living a life full of internal bliss and peace.

Islam as a religion is exactly like that. Without any exaggeration it is able to guide us in every sphere and phase of life. The comprehensiveness of Islam is enough as an evidence to prove that it is the only real Divine-ordained religion. Here in this blog we shall have a very brief look upon the basic beliefs of the Islam as a faith.

The following are the most basic articles in Islam to have faith in:

  • Faith in Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
  • Faith in Angels
  • Faith in Divine Scriptures
  • Faith in Messengers
  • Faith in the Day of Judgment
  • Faith in Destiny

Let’s discuss them very briefly:

  1. Faith in Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: Muslims believe in one God. And they call Him with the name Allah. He is alone. There is no partner to Him neither in His being nor in His attributes. Only He is worthy of worship.
  1. Faith in Angels: Angels are the creation of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ and they are created by light (nur). They are humble servants of Almighty Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ who carry out His commandments.
  1. Faith in Prophets of God: Muslims also believe in the institution of Prophet hood. Almighty Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ chooses whomsoever he wills as his Prophet and that Prophet communicates the Divine message to His bondman. Adam عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام is the first of all the Prophets while Muhammad صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم is the last and final Prophet. There can never be any Prophet after him. Some other Prophets are also mentioned in the Holy Quran. All of them came with the same message of oneness of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ and that only He is the worthy of worship.
  1. Faith in Revealed Books of God: Muslims also believe in the divine word which is only revealed to the chosen Prophets. The Holy Quran is last of all the book of God. It is free from any distortion and is protected from every forgery and distortion. Many books were revealed to the Prophets before the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّی اللّٰہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم but all those books were, unfortunately, distorted and manipulated by the people.
  1. Faith in Day of Judgment: Muslims believe in the Day of Judgment as well. The whole creation will be resurrected on this day. It is the day of accountability wherein every human being will have to stand for the accountability of his actions done in this life.
  1. Faith in Destiny and Divine Decree: Muslims believe that the knowledge of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ is perfect. Everything happens with His will and knowledge.

Dear Islamic brothers! These are the most basics of the Islamic beliefs. And in order to learn more detail please visit our website http://www.dawateislami.net. And download the book “Welcome to Islam”. Insha Allah this book will illuminate our hearts with true teachings of Islam.

May Almighty Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ enable us to choose the real Divine path and keep us on it for rest of our lives! Amen.

Islamic Ethics vs Liberal Ethics

Honestly offspring’s of Adam & Eve, Muslims develop their Islamic-ethics from the sacred book Al-Quran-e-Kareem and Hadith shareef (sayings of the Noble Prophet), while Quran-e-Kareem encloses more than a few commands and Muhammad’s (Ummatee) followers must act upon. The Hadith shareef presents Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ as the perfect human, whom Muslim-Ummah must imitate in all esteems. Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ was revealed upon the Ummah as a mortal-being, appointed by Gracious Almighty Allah (God) to teach the word of Allah (God) and lead a model life, as the best “Model” for mankind in virtues and perfection. The beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ is living evidence, of what man can be and of what he can achieve in the realm of excellence and virtues.

And those who struggled in Our path – We shall surely show them Our paths; and indeed Allah is with the righteous ones. (1)

Muslim believers look at the whole thing in a different way and morality comes from the beloved Prophet’s actions and good is whatever He exercised. Morality does not decide the Prophet’s actions; however His actions decide and outline morality. The acts of the beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ are not conventional acts but are Gracious Almighty Allah’s own acts endowed, guided and permitted by Gracious Almighty Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.

Whoever desires harvest of the Hereafter, We increase the harvest for him; and whoever desires the harvest of this world – We shall give him part of it, and he has no share in the Hereafter.(2)

It was for this approach and by this reason that beloved Prophet Muhammad’s sentiments became the beliefs of Islam while his personal lifestyles and habits became moral essentials; Gracious Almighty Allah’s directives for all disciples in all ages and places to follow.

You are the best amongst all the nations that were raised among the people – you command what is good and prohibit what is evil and you believe in Allah.(3)

Islam is a complete way of life, and ethics is one of the keystones of Islam.  Ethics is one of the essential sources of a nation’s power, just as immorality is one of the leading causes of a nation’s failure.  Islam has established some all-purpose essential rights for humankind as a whole, which are to be perceived in all situations.  To endorse these rights, Islam has delivered not only legal safety measure, but also a very operational moral system.  Therefore, whatever leads to the prosperity of the individual or the society and does not face any sayings of the religion is ethically good in Islam, and whatever is harmful is ethically bad.

And let there be a group amongst you who invites towards goodness, and commands what is good and forbids what is evil; it is they who are the successful ones.(4)

Well-known of its significance in a vigorous society, Islam supports ethics and substances that lead to it, and positions in the way of dishonesty and substances that lead to it.  The administrative principle for the conduct of a Muslim is (Virtuous Deeds) and this term covers all deeds, not only deeds of worship.  The Protector and Evaluate of all deeds is Gracious Almighty Allah (God) Himself.

The most essential characteristics of a Muslim are virtues and modesty and a Muslims should be modest with the Creator Gracious Almighty Allah (God) and also with all His Creations.

And turn not your face away from people (with pride), nor walk in insolence through the earth.  Verily, God likes not each arrogant boaster.  And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice.  Verily, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the ass. (5)

A Muslim should not be unproductive or devoted to the temporary desires of this world. While record people let the material world to fill their hearts, Muslims should keep Allah (God) in their hearts and the substantial world in their influence.  Instead of being devoted to the Pullman and the work and the credential and the bank figures, all these possessions become tools to mark us better societies.

It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards East or West; but it is righteousness (the quality of ) the one who believes in God and the Last Day and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; who spends of his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, to the needy, to the wayfarer, to those who ask and for the freeing of slaves; and who is steadfast in prayers, and gives Zakah (Alms); and those who fulfill their covenants which they made; and who are patient and perseverance in poverty and ailment and throughout all periods of fighting.  Such are the people of truth, the pious. (6)

Definition of the verse demonstrates that morality and piety is centered before all others on a correct and truthful faith.  The significant to virtues and good behavior has a strong bonding with Gracious Almighty Allah (God), who perceives all, at all times and universally.  He discerns the secrets of the hearts and the plans behind all acts.  And so, a Muslim must be ethical in all situations; Almighty Allah (God), is very well aware of every one, when no one else is therefore, we can deceive the whole world, except for Him.  We can escape from the world, but not from Him, so when there is no escape why disobey Him.  The affection and endless awareness of Gracious Almighty Allah (God) and the Day of compensation enable’s man, to be ethical in behavior and honest in intentions, with dedication and devotion:

Do not ever think of those who rejoice for their deeds and wish to be praised without doing (good deeds) – do not ever think that they are safe from the punishment; and for them is a painful punishment.(7)

Aj banta hun mu’azziz Jo khulay Ḥashr mayn ‘ayb

Haye ruswayi ki afat mayn phansun ga Ya Rab

Translation: Ya Rab! Today, I act as if I am a respected person. Alas, I will be disgraced if my faults are exposed on the Day of Judgement. (8)

Ethics in Islam lectures every feature of a Muslim’s life, from greetings to comprehensive relations.  It is collective in its scope and in its applicability’s, whereas morality rules in selfish needs, arrogance and evil behaviors.  Muslim-Ummah must not only be ethical, they should also command virtues and not only abstain from immoral but must also outlaw them.  Furthermore, must not only be ethically strong, but they must also contribute to the ethical condition of the society as a whole.

You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and believe in God; and if the followers of the Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are transgressors.(9)

Islamic Ethics <> Conclusion;

When observing Islamic-ethics, Muslims appreciate Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ as model human-being, the one all mankind should strive to imitate. Along with extra universal virtues, the 5 Pillars of Islam form a core of Islamic-ethics and supports incentives for ethical deeds along with keenness of final judgment is the strongest.

Is holy Quran significant for the human race?

Are the Stances of the holy Quran just for Muslims? If Gracious Almighty (God) is the creator of the worlds and the noble Prophet is pronounced as the messenger for the worlds and the holy Quran is stated as a notice to the worlds, then what is the significance of the Quranic meaning to the world? How can the Muslims and non-Muslims, benefit from the collective message of a collective and compassionate Creator?

…Read with the name of your Lord Who created. Created man from a clot. Read and your Lord only is the Most Beneficent, The One Who taught to write with the pen. The One Who taught man all what he did not know… (1)

The holy book of Gracious Almighty (Al-Quran), Muslims believe is the ultimate statement, Gracious Almighty revealed for human-beings through noble Prophet, in the 7th century. Muslims also believe that the holy Quran confirms all that was revealed to all the former messengers of Gracious Almighty.

…Indeed following the Noble Prophet of Allah is better for you… (2)

The Muslims believe the guidance of the Quran is for all time, and all people and none shall touch but those who are clean (purified), however more serious among them believe that the verse refers to the pureness and sanctity of the heavenly message highlighting, the fact that it is revealed by the One who is absolutely authentic, Gracious Almighty and delivered by the one who is sacred and pure Guardian, Angel Gabriel and delivered to the one and only dearest Prophet Muhammad, who is acquitted from committing any mistakes in delivering the divine message.

…And O dear Prophet, We have not sent you except with a Prophet Hood that covers the entire mankind, heralding glad tidings and warnings, but most people do not know… (3)

Dignity of Human Beings:

The Laws of Quran do not deprive mankind of their human rights, for their gender, color or even secular view. The holy Quran debates in a wider term and states; no one has a right to disagree mankind’s dignity, which is Gracious Almighty’s given right.

…Whoever wants a long life, increase in his sustenance and protection from bad death, should continue to fear Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and treat his relatives with kindness… (4)

In the past, world had trouble in appreciating the legitimacy of this Quranic memorandum. Societies were victimized on the basis of their culture, status, gender, religious activities and political authorities were in case justifying these perceptions. A model case of rejection of such dignity can be discovered in India where conferring to religious scripture a group of people were written off as low classes or castaways because of their natal in a specific communal group.

Universalization of Natural Resources:

Another Quranic message related to humanity at large is its importance on the universality of nature’s resources. Soil, waters, the skies and wind are equally beneficial for all. None can control them only for their personal use and none can deny others the rights given to them. Therefore the holy Quran states, …Gracious Almighty has created for you all that are on earth; furthermore His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He has perfect knowledge… (5)

The sharing of these human resources, in a way that would guarantee the self-worth and unity of humankind is a key challenge for human-beings. Battles have been fought for land-dwellings and access to nature’s wealth such as water, land-dwellings or gas without understanding that, none of these nature’s resources were created by human being, yet human-beings have always battled over their greediness to control them.

… And we made every living thing from water… (6)

The holy Quran clarifies the determination to provide these wealth are to make sure that human-beings are not run-down of their basic needs for existence. Today about 1.7 billion people slumber with hunger and over 60% of the population earns less than a dollar a day. Hunger is common and so is penury and people deprived of clean water, even though there is plenty of a fresh water reserve. Today people are forced to slumber on boulevards, underneath the open blues, yet there is quite a land to make available housings for everyone.

… Then ponder that, We created you from soil… (7)

Justice for all:

Holy Quran not only highlights justice, but also endorses a pace exceeding justice and reminds that people who are expected to attain success are those who transform their characters and no longer push others away to greedily fulfill their own desires. Realizing that the other person’s need is more severe, they happily allow them to fulfill it first.

…And do not let the enmity of anyone tempt you not to do justice… (8)

Every society demands justice as its core value, however we find that every society violates its own values and supports injustice on the center of divisions that individuals have fashioned amid themselves. So much unfairness, dishonor and rejection of basic human-rights take place in our world, because people incline to view justice for others as not compulsory. On the other hand, without resulting to justice, it is not possible to consider self-respect, harmony or universality of civilization.

…And let not the enmity of the people who had stopped you from going to the Sacred Mosque tempt you to do injustice… (9)

Peace is the goal:

Quran’s ultimate goal is to secure a peaceful human-society so that a peaceable family can safeguard the well being, of an individual for getting true prospective of life and organizing a life that is perpetual in every sense. The harmony of people, the self-esteem, the integrity and the universality of human-wealth surface the route for harmony.

…Whoever kills a human being except in lieu of killing or causing turmoil in the earth, so it shall be as if he had killed all mankind…? (10)

Conclusions:

Therefore, the message of the holy Quran is collective and perpetual, while the Divine sets the principles through messages sent to human-beings. It is upon us to strive for the path of harmony, self-respect, universality, integrity and ceasefire, not the path to claim with each, who is superior to the other or who would succeed for the Grace of Almighty Allah (God) and who would not.

Authorities of the beloved Prophet to See the Unseen

Quran is a star house of knowledge and wisdom containing references, related to knowledge and its results. This obviously indicates the great importance on knowledge and its acquirement at all stages of life.

This (Quran) is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy for a people who are certain (in faith). (2)

In its intellectual wisdom, there are 2 types of Knowledge or education, one which is educated in Madrasa, schools, academies and institution of higher education called (the knowledge of the books), in the advanced order. For an untrained-man as well as for the majority of the population this is what institutes the knowledge and it is believed to be enough to fulfill our physical seek and desire in this behalf.

These are the tidings of Unseen that We reveal to you in secret. (7)

However, there is yet another branch of knowledge, which is skilled and achieved directly or straight through the divine support, requiring neither the educational institutes, nor skilled teachers and degree holders. This is the mystical or heavenly region of knowledge, which in Quranic terms is known as the “Knowledge of the Hidden” or (Eilmay-Ghayeeb), constituting one of the essential principles of Islamic faith. In detail, the faith and unfaith in the Hidden “Ghayeeb” is the differentiating spot of an individual being a Muslim or a Pagan.

Conviction of the Ahle-Sunnah about Eilmay-Ghayeeb

Mufti Ahmad Yaar Khan (رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه) say’s;

Gracious Almighty Allah has informed His Prophets about certain things from the Unseen. The knowledge of the Prophet is more than anyone else’s. Nobody can be equal to the knowledge of the Prophet’s knowledge in the world. The 5 special things of the Unseen, Allah has informed some of these parts to the Prophet. (4)

This is the office of knowledge, Super-human in nature beating the human intelligence and dominant over all other knowledge, in any other field of human activity, challenging all methods of conveying and getting education and knowledge. This is basically an emblem of Heavenly Grace presented upon the chosen servants of Gracious Almighty Allah, alike tender blissful rain showered upon the hearts and souls of the esteemed inheritors on earth.

I know well that Allah is Capable to do all things. (1)

However, this does not mean that Gracious Almighty Allah restricts and retains the Knowledge of Hidden exclusively to Himself and does not disclose any part of it to any other person. These marvels have been verified at different places in the Holy Quran.

Imam Tabari writes under this verse:

Gracious Almighty Allah  has told the Prophet, you must thank Gracious Almighty Allah Who has informed you of what has already happened and what will happen in the future and this is a great grace of Gracious Almighty Allah upon you.(5)

In the verses of the Holy Quran it is clear that Gracious Almighty Allah bestowed the Knowledge of the Hidden upon His chosen Ones, but unfortunately, most people do not know this and contrarily, refuse to believe it, without realizing the consequences. These religious souls at times disclosed this Marvelous bestowment in order to influence the people and clear their suspicions and diverting them on the right track of religious belief and Faith.

KOI GAIB KYA TUMSE NEEHAN HO BHALA

JAB KHUDA

HI NA CHUPA TUMPE KARODON DAROOD

The Hidden Knowledge was also bestowed upon the noble Prophet, the most revealing and surpassing miracle given to the dearest Prophet of Gracious Almighty. More or less, one lack and twenty four thousand Apostles were elevated, at different ages of time with specific knowledge of the Hidden realm. However the Knowledge of Hidden bestowed upon the noble Prophet was boundless in space and scale with, Hidden secrets the Holy Prophet learned thru the knowledge bestowed upon him by the Grace of Gracious Almighty Allah.

Sayyiduna Sahl Bin Sa’d رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has narrated:

The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said on the day of Khyber, ‘Tomorrow I will give this flag to that person, by virtue of whom, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will bestow victory. He loves Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His Rasul (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم) and Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His Rasul (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم) loves him as well. (6)

The undisputed point remains that Gracious Almighty Allah granted the Hidden Knowledge to the noble Prophet and thru Him to “Auliya Allah” Friends of Allah. If someone denies and suspects the genuineness of this Divine Truth, he is certainly guilty of falsehood and declining the prominence of Divine Favor. An individual if convicted as a (Foul mouth), is worthy of being disqualified from the position and rank of Muslim-hood. The eminence of a true Muslim is that he admits and believes each and every command of Gracious Almighty Allah and deeds upon it ungrudgingly and completely and encourages others to do so.

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Bin Mas’ud رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has stated, ‘Amir-ul-Mu`minin Sayyidunā ‘Ali-ul-Murtada کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم is such a scholarly person of great eminence who possesses both the knowledge of the seen and unseen.’(3)

Respecting the throne of the beloved Prophet is an essential part of a Muslim’s faith!

Darbaar “Throne of Pre-eminences” of the holy Prophet is a (Grand Darbaar), surpassing the dignity of worldly Rajahs and crowned heads. It is an action of misbehavior and misdemeanor to even utter loud words in His Grand presence; such an act reasons the loss of all other virtuous deeds of a Believer, deprived of the Heavenly Grace.

But if anyone opposes the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to him, and follows a path other than that of the believers, We will hand him over to whatever he has turned to, and We will roast him in Hell. What an evil destination! (8)

The companions of the holy Prophet used to sit in his company in due respect holding their breaths and not making any movements to disturb the self-esteem of the gathering. They would only utter courteous phrases like: Dear Prophet of Gracious Almighty Allah! May well, my parents be sacrificed at the feet of your self-respect. Every question positioned to them, their answer used to be, (Gracious Almighty Allah and his Dearest Prophet knows better).

Conclusion;

Progenies of Adam and Eve, countless Praises be upon Gracious Almighty Allah for, He has gifted us one of his dearest amongst (approximately) 1, 24000, Forecasters rejoiced upon earth. It is clearly understood there is a Prophet amongst us that knows about tomorrow and everyone knows that our Prophet did know about the future events up to the Day of Judgment and even after. If considered that he knew nothing of the Unseen, how else could he have told us about Hazrat Mehdi (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام), the Dajjal, the return of Hazrat Essa (عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام) Jesus, the examination (Question & Answers) of the grave, (pull-e-serath) bridge over hell, which every soul will have to cross, the weighing scale (meezaan), where everyone’s deeds will be weighed up.

Quran teaches us to learn and change

Science today is nothing more than observation. The scientists mainly discern a problem and on the bases of research, followed by extra observation come to an end. As a result, thru observation we can gain the knowledge of art, which is the most essential component of the entire learning procedure.

learn to Quran

Ya Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Open the doors of knowledge and wisdom for us, and have mercy on us! O the One who is the most Honorable and Glorious! (1)

Islam is a great promoter of learning and, high spots truly on the eminence of learning. Islam emphasizes its followers to acquire knowledge of Gracious Almighty Allah, also of his creations and His sacred signs, so that they are better able to acknowledge His blessings. The Holy Quran has noticeably tinted the reflection of illiteracy and commands us to preach and teach amongst the illiterate.

Dayta hun Tujhay wasitah mayn piyaray Nabi ka

Ummat ko Khudaya rah-e-Sunnat pay chala day (2)

Translation: O Almighty! Make the Ummah tread the path of Sunnah for the sake of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

Hence, the revelation of the Holy Quran with the announcement to (Read) shows, the class of importance Islam springs to analyze in general, by seeking knowledge and book learning in specific.

Convey on my behalf even if only one verse. (3)

Moreover, this stanza also expresses that, knowledge comes from the hidden treasures of Gracious Almighty, as He is the One who educated writing to mankind and, so the procedures of education we witness today in the world are all blessings of Gracious Almighty and not taking advantage of them in a sense would mean, being unthankful of the blessings that are bestowed upon us.

Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We increase the harvest for him; and whoever desires the harvest of this world – We shall give him part of it, and he has no share in the Hereafter.(4)

Protocols of Learning:

There have been different Muslim scholars and philosophers in the past and also today, who have been pronouncing throughout their lifespan, about numerous ways of learning. More than a few of those ways of learning are annulled, because of several codes of conduct. Offspring’s of Adam & Eve Islam is a religion, that firmly monitors the codes of conduct and Muslims intellectuals and scholars, in these circumstances have announced a few protocols for learning.

Yehi hay arzu ta’lim-e-Quran am ho jaye

Har aik parcham say auncha parcham-e-Islam ho jaye

Translation:

May the teachings of the Quran prevail; this is my prayer

Over all other flags, may the flag of Islam fly higher

Questioning; The procedure of learning begins thru questioning and inquiring is essential for us because, if problems are not queried, issues will go on in the same unsolved way, creating problems. Islamic queries are perfectly supported, by our Islamic scholars and all the issues are resolved with references.

My Lord, bestow me more knowledge (5)

Listening attentively; usually it happens that a person questions and does not remain attentive and focused, which prevents the answer from touching the heart and mind of the person. For that reason, after querying the precise question, it is compulsory to keep quiet and pay attention to the answer responsively.

Adding a footnote to this, A’la Hadrat رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه (Translator of Quran-Kanzul-Imaan) has stated referring to scholarly saints, ‘Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ says in an authentic Hadis Qudsi, هُمُ الۡقَوۡمُ لَايَشۡقِيۡ بِهِمۡ جَلِيۡسُهُم These are those in whose company one is not ill-fated (6)

Try to Understand; Mostly the answer bounces over the head, which does not mean, that the answer, is irrelevant, but fairly means the individual has not understood it properly. For that reason, enough time and more effort are needed to understand, while we should also thank, Gracious Almighty for granting us the opportunity of obtaining, the true wisdom of knowledge.

And proclaim the favors of your Rab abundantly (7)

Memorizing; after receiving the answer, one should grip on to it and try to learn by heart the answer, so that when such a situation or similar problem, is encountered in the very future, one may perhaps recall his memory and acquire the answer for that similar issue.

We heard and we obeyed, may forgiveness be granted by You, O our Lord, and towards You we have to return. (8)

Teaching And Practice; after attending and understanding the answer, we should further convey that information to others. The confinement of knowledge to one’s self is selfishness and it sojourns the procedure of learning. Furthermore, it is important to act upon, what is learned as it is the best form of teaching, so the answer requires to be implemented in the form of action and preached to others.

Sayyiduna Hasan Basri عَـلَيْهِ رَحْـمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ الۡـقَـوِی has stated, ‘The one commanding people to do good deeds and preventing them from evil ones, is the caliph of Allah as well as His Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and that of His book (i.e. the Holy Quran).’ It is stated in a Hadis that if Muslims give up Islamic preaching, cruel kings will rule them and their prayers will not be answered. (9)

Conclusion:

Islam is a prodigious supporter of learning and inspires all those who follow the path of wisdom with good intentions. Islam discerns that any type of knowledge whether Islamic or technical, useful for mankind needs to be embraced and cultured. Only on the bases of knowledge and Information, human beings can become more progressive and cultured.

Ultimately!

Sayyiduna Hasan Basri عَـلَيْهِ رَحْـمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ الۡـقَـوِی has stated:

Man will attain Paradise, not because of a few days’ good deeds, but because of good intentions (10)

Al-Quran kareem Spring of Wisdom

The dominance of the word (Allah), over all other words is alike the dominance of Gracious Almighty Allah over the entire creation. The sanctified book of Gracious Almighty Al-Quran (Koran) revealed the procedure of the formation of mankind long before science described the consecutive phases of fetal growth and improvement 1400 years ago.

It is He Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; then lets you become old, – though of you there are some who die before; – and lets you reach a term appointed; in order that you may learn wisdom. (1)

Learn and recite the Quran (Koran), because the model of one who learns the Quran (Koran), reads it and recites it in Tahajjud (dawn prayers) is like an open sack full of musk whose fragrance permeates the entire place. And the person who has memorized the Quran (Koran) but naps, while the Quran (Koran) is in the heart is like a sack full of musk but with its opening closed.

O my Allah! May recitation become part of my daily routine!

In reciting the Quran wholeheartedly, may I become keen!

Whoever narrates a verse of the Book of Gracious Almighty, for him is one reward and one blessing is equivalent to 10 times in compensation. I do not proclaim, that (Alif, Laam, Meem) is a letter, but Alif is (1) word, Laam is (1) word and Meem is (1) word.

And when the Quran is recited, listen to it attentively and remain silent, so that mercy may be bestowed upon you. (3)

The Sanctified book Al-Quran (Koran) of Gracious Almighty, is origin crown of all-inclusive learning, however there is a striking variance between the Sanctified book Al-Quran (Koran) and other additional books. The sanctified book Al-Quran (Koran) is conversation (Words) of Gracious Almighty Allah and records on various outlets of knowledge are human research of Gracious Almighty’s creation. These books are covenant with particular subjects and issues and are no way equivalent with the sanctified book Al-Quran (Koran).

We heard and we obeyed, may forgiveness be granted by You, O our Lord, and towards You we have to return. (4)

download (2)

The sanctified Quran (Koran) is a paragon of our knowledge and wisdom that man will need till completion of time. All information devises from the sanctified book Quran (Koran) and is the straightforward truth of Islamic principles of knowledge. We must get out of the darkness of illiteracy and move headed, for the glare of public relations and lively future.

The leader of the Ahl-e-Sunnat, ‘Allamah Maulana Al-Haj    Al-Hafiz Al-Qari Ash-Shah Imam Ahmad Raza Khan عَـلَيْهِ رَحْمَةُ الـرَّحْمٰن has stated, ‘Without doubt, to learn enough Tajwid that one is able to correctly pronounce every letter[1] and save himself from mistakes in recitation is Fard-e-‘Ayn [compulsory for every individual].(5)

If u want to learn Tajwid then check out the Tajweed Learning App

The Sanctified book Quran (Koran) is the ultimate and concluding message of Gracious Almighty Allah through His messenger, which promises success for manhood in this realm and life hereafter. Gracious Almighty has positioned all the laws of treasured knowledge, good actions and success of the whole mankind in His sanctified Book Al-Quran (Koran). In the current epoch the Muslim-Ummah are ethically, business-wise, traditionally and generally reached the limit of waning and devastation only for the reason that they have turned a deaf ear, towards the sanctified book Al-Quran (Koran
). The single answer to overwhelm the depressed troubles of the Muslim-Ummah is to remedy to the teachings of the sanctified book Al-Quran (Koran). It is detailed in the Sanctified book Al-Quran (Koran);

And when the Quran is recited, listen to it attentively and remain silent, so that mercy may be bestowed upon you. (6)

Dawate-Islami is keenly involved in “dawah”, propagation of Quran & Sunnah with true Islamic tutoring, rectification of the spiritual and moral affairs of Muslim-Ummah, recovery of Islamic knowledge and reawakening of Islam from its very 1st day. “Calling the Muslim–Ummah towards the sanctified book Al- Quran (Koran)” is one of the highest call for accomplishing these goal lines.

 (7)Translation

O my Rab! Bestow upon me the passion to seek the knowledge of Islam

O Allah! Grant me the enthusiasm to learn and teach the Holy Quran

In the modern times, it is extremely difficult for abroad Muslims to visit the Mosques (holy places for worshiping Gracious Almighty) and study Sanctified book Quran (Koran) in their busy natural life. Conclusion;

A Muslim has to effort upon his ethical personality. The healthier principles a Muslim includes in his personality, a better and performing Muslim he develops and it is on the basis of this preacher repetition of Islam that he will be amongst the sanctified ones, equally in this realm and in the realm Hereafter.

A Healthy Ramadan with Precautions is better than Cure

Ramadan-ul-Mubarak is a heavenly month, queued at the 9thspot, in the order of the Islamic calendar. It is an Islamic month in which, Muslim Ummah is encouraged to practice and exercise self-control. Fasting in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, we can recover health, only if attended in an appropriate way. Monitor our fasting tips and make life-style reforms to get the best out of this Ramadan-ul-Mubarak. Let this time of year, be a time of revival in spirit, soul and body.

Zakāĥ of body

Sayyidunā Abū Ĥuraīraĥ رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهُ has narrated that the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said: “There is Zakāĥ (charity) for everything, and the Zakāĥ of your body is fasting, and fasting is half of patience.” (1)

Guidelines for a healthy fast in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak

Fasting in Ramadan carries a high-risk of dehydration, as nutrients are limited from early sunrise till sunset. In addition for fasting, Muslims are encouraged to wake-up very early to have their pre-dawn meal Sahari, but please remember to consume the right type of food and in the right quantity is the key.

Eat Saḥarī because it is a blessed (food). (2)

AR-160509273.jpg&NCS_modified=&imageversion=1by1&exif=

Don’t skip “Sahari” [pre-dawn meal]

According to a popular saying, “breakfast is a very important meal of the day” and in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, it turns out to be even more significant!

Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His angels send mercy upon the people who eat Saḥarī. (3)

Avoiding Sahari prolongs the abstaining period, as our body relies on the earlier meal to provide all the nutrients and liveliness till Iftar. Due to lengthier hours of fasting, we are expected to feel dehydrated and exhausted throughout the day. Furthermore, missing Sahari also encourages overeating in Iftar, which can reason an unhealthy digestive system.

Sayyidunā ‘Irbāḍ Bin Sāriyaĥ رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهُ has narrated that once the Beloved and Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم called him to eat Saḥarī with him during the month of Ramadan and said: “Come for a blessed breakfast”. (4)

Important Note:

Fajar Azaan is just for Salah (prayers), not for fasting; therefore Sahari must not be delayed to such a point that the time of dawn Subh-e-Sadiq appears to start. A number of Muslims keep eating even after dawn, in progress of Azaan sayings: Pay attention! This act does not close the fast; in fact it leaves the fast absolutely open and makes it null and void. As a result you will gain nothing, but will have to bear thirst and hunger the entire day.

Don’t overeat during Iftar (dinner)

Evenhanded, as it is not suitable to escape Sahari, over-eating can also harm your body, while opening the fast. Iftar must be a well-balanced healthy diet, and not an extensive meal! Over-eating and too much intake of large calories food, can affect the digestive system. People usually eat to their full in both Sahari and Iftar times and come across constipation and high-blood pressure.

Avoid eating fried foodstuffs

It is not rare, about fasting Muslims to compensate themselves with fried pakoraas, samosaas, rolls, kacchoriyaan, and other deep fried sticky dishes which are considered essential at Iftar meals. Even though these foodstuffs seem good to eat, but for a short ride, they can make abstaining the next day more challenging.

Instead, we should try foodstuffs from all light food groups, as well as fruits and vegetables. Eating fiber rich food, in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak is also acceptable, as they are digested easily than junk food. “Health is wealth” is a very popular saying in our lifecycle, which is time and again referred by our elders. Physical health is very essential for our natural life and to acquire that we need to eat in a measured style.

And eat and drink until the white thread becomes distinct to you from the black thread at dawn; then complete the fasts till the coming of night. (5)

Drink plenty of water

Use of liquid refreshment, as much as possible, amid Iftar meal and Sahari pre-dawn meal, can reduce the risk of dehydration in fasting.

Liquids include juices, milk, soft drinks and thirst-quenchers, but water is the best option, ideally, we have to also cut down on caffeinated drinks like tea, coffee and Colas as these drinks promote liquid loss.

Conclusion:

A well-secure intake is extremely vital for a healthy fast, in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak!

Blessed month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak approached with the note of endurance, virtues and serving the deprived. Eating according to limit and abstaining from hefty-oiled diet is not the directive of Almighty Allah, but is the designed need of a human digestive system. Fasting not only safeguards us from misconducts but also protects us from diseases. By taking these precautionary measures we can stay healthy, so thank Almighty Allah for good health and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitar in a dazzling mode.

Virtues of Fasting in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak

Dear brothers and sisters of Muslim Ummah! Inshallah we are about to host very soon, a generous and an honorable guest; a visitor, who stopovers once in a year and brings all sorts of goodness and happiness, along with the widespread mercy and forgiveness of Gracious Almighty. Imagine a visitor passing the Aroma of Heavens, nearing us towards Gracious Almighty and His promised (Jannah) Paradise. Ramadan-ul-Mubarak certainly, trying to driving us away from Hell fire, well-known as the month of Quran, mercy, forgiveness, praying at nights, Charity giving month, solidarity, mutual help and the month of all blessings.

In Islam Muslims are advised to be kind and generous towards the guest and what if the visitor is the best guest, what are we supposed to do, think? Should we exert ourselves in generosity, which is a sign of good conduct and great worship or should we just ignore. Response! Be thankful for the immense mercy of Gracious Almighty upon us, that He made us Muslims and extended our lives to welcome the most honorable guest. Therefore, be thankful and grateful to Gracious Almighty, for allowing us to witness Ramadan-ul-Mubarak and also try to please Him as much as possible during this remarkable month.

Fast is a hidden form of worship; no one can come to know about your fast until you tell it to others. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ likes hidden worship more. A blessed Ḥadīš says, ‘Fasting is the door of worship.’ (1)

Muslims fast why? It is a human persona to enquire and to speculate why things happen. Muslims ensure things to please Gracious Almighty, and we can please Him only by submitting and practicing Islam. As a result, in response to the query, why do we fast?, we answer back, that it is a directive and a clear order from Gracious Almighty upon us and we have no other choice but to obey Gracious Almighty  and gratify Him with Love and Fear at the same time.

Karlay tawbaĥ Rab kī raḥmat ĥay bařī

Qabr mayn warnaĥ sazā hogī kařī (2)

The month of Ramadan in which was sent down the Quran – the guidance for mankind, the direction and the clear criteria (to judge between right and wrong). So whoever among you finds this month, must fast for the (whole) month; and whoever is sick or on a journey, may fast the same number in other days. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ desires ease for you and does not desire hardship for you so that you complete the count (of fasts), and glorify Allah’s greatness for having guided you, and so that you may be grateful. (3)

Islam means submission to Gracious Almighty, we have no other choice, but to surrender our-selves to Gracious Almighty and follow His orders. It is from the mercy of Gracious Almighty toward us, that though He recommended us to fast and presented us with the Virtuous of Fasting in Ramadan hereafter.

The reward for fasting is immense, as mentioned in the following Hadith:

‘On the first night of Ramadan, the portals of the skies and Paradise are opened which remain open until the last night (of the month). So if anyone offers Ṣalāĥ in any night of this month, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will reward him with 1,500 virtues for every Sajdaĥ (prostration) and make a palace of red rubies for him that will have 60,000 gates. The gates will have hinges of gold that will be embroidered with red rubies. Thus, the one who fasts on the first day of Ramadan will be forgiven for his sins until the last day of the month and 70,000 angels will ask for his forgiveness from morning till evening. Each time he prostrates during the day or at night, he will be granted a tree in Heaven and each tree is so huge that a horse rider can ride under its shadow for 500 years.’ (4)

After, we understand the Importance of the Blessed month of Ramadan and what success it can lead to, we need to put all our energies in carrying out fasting in the finest way possible. Since fasting is worship, we must do it solely for Gracious Almighty’s sake, and remember other intentions are not accepted, further than pleasing Gracious Almighty and seeking His forgiveness with sincerity. Deprived of a true intention, no deed is of any worth in the Hereafter.

Conclusions:

Welcome the, Glorious month of holy Ramadan by making the best use of time, as we all know time is very precious, because every minute that passes can never return. Ramadan-ul-Mubarak is a means of success or failure, recovery or devastation…
