Muslim: A man of his word

Muslim islam dawateislami

In the Arabic dictionary, the word Muslim is an up rooted expression of Islam.

“Muslim” and “Islam” come from the identical root: which means; “to abide in peace”; “renounced in compliance”; and this straightaway bond between two individuals, one being supreme to the other or in charge of issues. Why are so many people transforming into Islam and why it has become the speedily flourishing religion in the world today. It is necessary to re frame the meaning of the words from the Arabic language to portray an exact view of what is “ISLAM” & “MUSLIMS” are.

A Muslim’s primary objective is to “build a fraternity (ummah)” were fortune is equally allotted. “Prostrations while praying were formulated to correspond… hard egotism … guiding to put away their self-esteem and greed “For Muslims it is obligatory to give zakat—alms to the poor. Fasting in the month of Ramadan reminds them of what is life for the needy, who can’t eat or drink whenever they desire to do so.

Honest intention is the vital solution to the triumph or omission of the Muslim. All actions taken must be for the welfare of Allah and not for showing off or drawing attention to himself or herself. If there is even a bit of self-esteem or advertisement for the people rather than doing for Allah, then the whole action will be jilted by Allah on the Doomsday. This is because Almighty Allah loves chastity of intentions and so does wants chastity in deed.

Islam is a religion defined by the holy prophet Muhammad & a gift for the Muslims from Allah, The Originator and Strengthener of all that exists. As such, it is for Him Alone to order and direct His creation and He Alone is the only one not answerable to any one for what He will accept and what He will reject. It is also for Him Alone to decree what is good and what is bad and He is surely the One to show the right track to everyone in all things.

Muslims should understand that Islam delivers a perfect and comprehensive way of living, justifying a Muslims life entirely from the start till the end and from the rise until demise. Islam is always vigilant to prompt that it is not a religion of hollow words services; preferably it is a global way of life that must be practiced regularly by the Muslims to be in Islam.

There are other directives and laws which affect virtually all aspects of a Muslims personal, family and civil life. Matters which are diet, clothing, children, marriage, divorce, responsibilities towards parents, personal hygiene, personal relations, business relations, fighting in defense of Islam, relations with non-Muslims, and much much more.

In judgment, we are made to perceive that ISLAM is a sure way of life for the Muslims. Everything is concluded in Islam from rise to demise and live in the complete compliance to the Will of the One Who Created man in the first place.

Hadees, muslim

Non-Muslims inquire, “What about Muslims as extremists?” And of course the answer is simple; “If you are at peace with Allah and doing what He has ordered and staying away from what He has disallowed, how could you be an extremist?” This is a mis perception of both the meaning of the word, “Muslim” and a gross mis perception of what Muslims are all about.

As the Sufi poet Rumi tells us: “Look for the soul—you become the soul. Hunt for the bread—you become the bread. Whatever you look for—you are.”   Let us look for peace.

Sadqa Al-Fitr: Breaking a fast

Sadaqat e wajiba

According to our holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, every Muslim should give Sadaqa Al-Fitar. A sum equal to one Sa’a of grain.”Definition of (Sa’a), a prehistoric gauge of volume or weight,” different minds have struggled to clarify this volume in current measurements. The most popular perception is that one Sa’a is equivalent to 2.05 kilograms of wheat. Each individual Muslim is to give away this amount male or female, adult or child, ill or vigorous, aged or young. The senior associate of the house is accountable for paying the amount on behalf of the family. Hazrat- Ibn ‘Umar states that the holy Prophet instructed that (Zakat al-Fitr) should be given before Muslims go to perform the (`Eid) prayers .Our beloved holy Prophet’s associates Hazrat Ibn ‘Umar used to always give it to those who would accept it .This indicates that we must inform in advance, this sum is associated to Sadqa Al-Fitar to our deprived Muslim brother’s and sister’s before handing over the alms to them.

Sadaqa Al-Fitr is humanitarian alms associated to the holy month of Ramadan. The word Fitr means the same as Iftar, breaking a fast and it comes from the same source word as Futoor which means breakfast. We must hand-over the alms just before the Eid-Al-Fitar invocation. This invocation happens early in the morning after Fajar prayer on the 1st of Shawwal, the month following Ramadan. After the growth of Islam the legal scholars authorized its payment from the rise and mid of Ramadan so as to confirm that the Zakat al-Fitr is delivered to its beneficiaries on the day of `Eid. It is particularly highlighted that the distribution be before the `Eid prayers in order that the needful who collect are able to use the fitr for their dependents on the day of `Eid. Zakat al-Fitr is only WA’ jib for a specific time period. If someone misses the specific time phase without a good excuse, he will be accounted as a sinner and will not be able to make it up. This type of charity becomes compulsory from sunset on the last day of fasting and remains compulsory until the beginning of” Eid Prayers”.
